With the CAO Application, Read the below information before you continue.
- If you have already submitted an application form, please do not submit a duplicate application via the Internet.
- The CAO will only accept one application form from you for a specific entry year and term.
- Have your school and tertiary study details handy before you start.
How to apply through CAO:
- Go to www.cao.ac.za.
- Click on “Apply Now”.
- Create an account or log in to your existing account.
- Provide your personal information, academic qualifications, and the institutions you are applying to.
- Pay the administration fee.
- Submit your application.
You can also check your application status online at www.cao.ac.za.
The 2024 CAO Application form is now closed. The late closing date was 17:00 on the 1st May. The normal closing date was 17:00 on the 1st February.
An Exceptional Late Application facility opens on 5th July at noon. This facility applies only to applicants who are registered as an undergraduate student on 1st May in any year in any one of the participating Higher Education Institutions. The closing date for Exceptional Late Applications is 22nd July at 17:00.
