Apprenticeship Programme
This programme is designed to enable learners to develop and apply learned industrial standards to increase productivity, efficiency and quality. The learners for this programme are selected after they have successfully completed their Grade 12 basic education certificate.
All learners selected must have passed their Grade 12 with Mathematics, Science and English at a minimum of 50% plus two trade relevant technical subjects from an accredited college (N1 – N6). ArcelorMittal offers apprenticeship in the following specialised areas:
- Millwright
- Fitter
- Fitter and Turner
- Turner
- Rigger
- Roller Turner
- Instrumentation Mechanician
- Refractory Mason
- Electrician
- Boilermaker
- Welder.
