Every year the Nedbank Group, Ltd offers young graduates and unemployed people from different communities in excess of 200 Nedbank Learnerships programmes. These learnerships speak to the government’s National Skills Development Strategy to create skills and ease poverty and unemployment.
The Nedbank Group, Ltd is a bank holding company and one of the four largest banking groups in South Africa. Its principal banking subsidiary is Nedbank Ltd. Nedbank Learnerships are available to those who have the necessary qualifications and include the Environmental Education, Training and Development Practice (EETDP) Learnership and Skills Programme at NQF level 5, which is a registered qualification and can be found on the SAQA website (Check the qualification on www.saqa.org.za). These accredited learnerships will take place in the agricultural, conservation, industry and local government sectors. You can contact Jonathon Wigley from the Partner Organization Wildlife and Environment Society of SA (WESSA) on jj@wessa.co.za for further information.
Learnerships consist of both theoretical and practical training which will be given at venues as stated by Nedbank. Learners will earn a monthly stipend for the duration of the learnership.
