What documents are needed for Wits application?

To apply online to the University of the Witwatersrand (Wits) in South Africa, you will need the following documents:

  1. Email Address: You’ll need an email address to complete the application.
  2. Identification Number: South African applicants will need an ID number. Foreign applicants will need their passport number.
  3. Matric Certificate/Foreign School Leaving Certificate(s): Attach a certified copy of your matric certificate/foreign school leaving certificate(s).
  4. Academic Record and Certificate of Good Conduct: If you have already attended a university/tertiary institution other than Wits, submit your school leaving results and a certified copy of your academic record and certificate of good conduct.
