Department Of Economic Development Roles And Responsibilities

In order to deliver on its vision of a productive, competitive and sustainable Victorian economy, the department provides regulation of relevant industries, as well as emergency management functions.
In delivering these functions, the department works with a wide variety of public entities, including public corporations, infrastructure development entities, asset management agencies, regulatory authorities and specialist boards.
