DPSA Director General
Mr Mashwahle Diphofa was appointed Director General of the DPSA in October 2011. Before that he was the DG of the Office of the Public Service Commission (PSC), a post he assumed after serving as Deputy Director General of Monitoring and Evaluation and later Deputy Director General of Leadership and Management Practices in the PSC. Before joining the PSC, Mr Diphofa worked for the DPSA as a Chief Director in the Service Delivery Improvement branch.
He previously also held various positions within the Joint Education Trust, an agency established as a partnership between business, labour and community and political organizations to provide support to development initiatives in the fields of education and training.
He holds BAPaed and Bachelor of Education degrees from the University of the North, a Masters Degree in Education and a Masters Degree in Management (Public and Development Management) both from the University of the Witwatersrand (Wits).
