Are Internships Extracurricular Activities ?
Internship is the academic accumulation process whereby students go to work in organisations briefly to acquire knowledge, hands on, on the job in order to have first hand knowledge of what their chosen field of career is about.
Extracurricular activity is not remotely or directly an academic demand of a chosen career or field of study while at school. It’s more like a desire, passion, hobby or interest, but it can be used for academic offer or for special bequeathing.
Internship can be seen as an extra curricular activity depending on the idea behind the person taking part in it but on an academic level, it’s a learning process.
