How to apply for stipend at AgriSETA?

Not everyone studying in the agricultural sector can avail of this bursary. There are eligibility criteria laid out by AgriSETA that all applicants must meet. Failure to do so will result in the cancellation of the application. Due to a high number of students applying for the bursary, AgriSETA may not consider revisions.

The eligibility requirements for AgriSETA bursary 2022-23 are:

  • Must be pursuing an undergrad or postgrad degree in the field of agriculture (Degree, diploma, or certificate)
  • Must be either studying full-time or part-time long-term courses. Short-term courses are not eligible
  • Must be studying at a recognized and accredited college or university in South Africa
  • Mustn’t be working or receiving a salary
  • Must not be receiving funding from any other bursary or scholarship

Please note that fulfilling all the criteria does not guarantee you’ll receive the funding. AgriSETA mentions that preference will be given to those who are on the Sectoral Priority Occupations list. Whether or not to award the bursary is at the sole discretion of the organization.
